Butterfly Barns have always maintained a strong family ethos, a home-from-home feel. It’s something we believe to be at the heart of Butterfly and vital to our nursery.

Our outdoor environment, ensures that children can learn about the world around them and learn in a natural space, allowing them to take managed risks, supported by their teachers, who encourage self-belief and resilience. By walking in our local community, we believe this supports children’s understanding and awareness of the world around them. We firmly believe that active children are happy children and that being outside and engaging with nature benefits our children’s mental health.

 

We want the best for all our children, families, and our team. We have a strong emphasis on building a healthy team as we believe that: Happy Team = Happy Children = Happy Families. We try our best to create a setting in which our team know that they are valued and supported, and not just there to do a ‘job’. A healthy, happy team creates a healthy, happy nursery environment and a positive friendly atmosphere for the children to flourish in.
